London Diaries Day 3... Part 2

After spending the morning searching for quirky pieces in Camden, we decided to move on to see the famous Abbey Road. I really did feel like the biggest tourist doing this, but it had to be done!!!

A massive thanks for the guys that were standing there all day in the cold taking photos for all the tourists queuing up!!!

London Diaries Day 3

Our Last day in London and I planned to make the most of it. The weather had improved tremendously, cold but sunny and blue skies. The plan... Camden.... Abbey Road and finish off in Chelsea.

I had never been to Camden, but I was excited to see what all fuss was about. It did not disappoint. I was excited when I left the underground to see shop after shop, each with its own unique and crazy vibe.

My fave part of Camden was the Camden Lock Village aka a huge market full of vintage collectables, faux designer pieces and amazing cultural food huts.

London Dairies Day 2.... Part 2

Dungarees: Forever21 £27.99
Tee: Miss Selfridge £25
Necklace: Primark £8

The ice bar is literally the coolest place I've been, literally. Everything in the room was made of ice, including the glasses you drink from. It's situated just down a road behind Reagent Street, and surrounded by an abundance of restaurants and chic lively bars. The Ice bar is a must. It's £13 for 40 minutes and a free cocktail. Ok, I know 40 minutes doesn't sound a long time, but it's freezing in there and even though you're dressed in a thick quilted poncho and eskimo mitts, you are ready to leave and head to warmer territory. But definitely a great experience!

London Diaries Day 2

After a lovely first day in London, I was surprised that I didn't feel too hungover. We headed to Notting Hill for some brunch and a little peak down Portobello Road.

Oversized Tee Dress: Missguided £15.99
Chelsea Boots: Primark £10
Frilly Socks: Primark £1.50
Beanie Hat: Primark £3.00

I love Portobello road. There really were some kooky shops full of vintage trinkets and unusual items.

Apart from the torrential rain and storms, getting completely soaked and finding out the Notting Hill bench doesn't actually exist, the day was perfect. If you're thinking of heading there, you have to visit the rustic cafe where we had brunch. It is literally a minute walk up from the underground.

The London Diaries Day 1.... Part 2

We got back to the hotel for 4pm, ready to start getting ready for the big night out.... NYE!

I was extremely excited to see the fireworks, as this is one of the things on my bucket list to do before I die... tick!

The weather was horrific, cold, wet and windy, but nothing could dampen our spirits. We didn't have to wait in the masses of tourists that had flocked to Westminster at midday to get a good spot to watch the fireworks. We were going on a booze cruise down the thames... woop woop!

                    My Outfit:
Dress: Forever21 £25
Shoes: River Island £30

Heathers Outfit:
Dress: Miss Selfridge £35
Shoes: Topshop £55

We ended up wearing tights in the end, as it was just too cold not to, plus we couldnn';t fake tan, as the rain would have just washed it off! Better pale, than splodgy and patchy.
