Christmas Gifts

Helllloooo lovely ladies and a Happy New Year to you all! 

Well, I am a tad behind on the blog front, which I apologise for, but it has been a crazy few weeks, what with work, making gifts, christmas, parties, a trip to London, New year and starting a new job. 

But the main thing is, I'm here now and with a vast amount of blogs to catch up on coming your way! 

I think I will start with CHRISTMAS! Did everyone have a gooden? I especially did, the festive fever in our house is crazy! So anyway, Christmas morning, I wake up to find that at the end of my bed, there is a sack, yes a sack full of beauty products! Father Christmas done good!

The sack was filled with lots of goodies, inclusing Christmas PJs and slippers, which I immediately put on! It turned out that Santa had also left matching slippers for my sisters and mum too.

12 Days of Christmas Day 5

On the fifth day of Christmas my true love gave to me ..... 5 golden rings!

Ok, so I don't have a "true love" per say, but I did get myself these 5 midi rings, which Never have off my fingers. There won't be a day over Christmas that these beauties won't be decorating my fingers.

A Christmas Weekend in the Country

It's that time of year, when the city gets busy, full of people Christmas shopping, pushing and shoving. As I live pretty much next to the Trafford Centre, It is literally a nightmare. It takes about an hour to get out of the road, especially at weekends. It's wayyyyy too much to handle. So I decided to get away for the weekend to The lake District.... my parents fave get away. 

It was bloody freezing, but by god it was beautiful. It always takes my breath away in Winter, as all the mountains are coated in pure white icy snow and it just looks beautiful. I used to dread going up to the country when I was younger, as it usually meant hard, intense, tiring hikes up all the peaks, but now I love going to getaway. 

Sooooo, we headed for our usual little town of Keswick and it was literally freeeeeezing cold, but bright sunshine... crisp and lovely. I spent the day pretty much looking around all the old charity shops, the Christmas markets and the sweetie shops, as well as scoffing my face with chips, chocolate, mulled wine and cookies. PERFECT DAY!!!

I also bought an absolute gem from the Oxfam charity shop. The owner gave me a discounted further price (she obviously thought it was a piece of rubbish) but I LOVE it! I cannot wait to wear it over the Christmas period.

12 Days of Christmas

DAY 4: 

It's the fourth day of christmas and a Sunday. So what does that mean... onesie day. 

I've already got two onesies, but hope to get another for christmas in the form of Minnie Mouse or Eeyore (child). But for now, I make do with my fluffy owl onesie or my fitted star fleece onesie. 

Every girl needs a onesie for those lazy winter days watching Christmas movies, wrapping pressies and generally eating all  your calendar chocolates in one great go.

12 Days of Christmas Day 3

It's freezing outside and I can't stand having cold feet, so most of the winter weeks, I spend in my UGGS. So day 3 fave is:

UGGS!

I have a few different pairs that I alternate with different outfits. my fave are the black originals! It's like wearing two big fluffy slippers outside. They are like Marmite, I think people rather love them or hate, but I'm definitely a lover.

Black mid length UGGS: I ordered mine from Australia so eneded up getting them for £70 in the end. Beats paying £150 over here.

Day 2 of 12 days of Christmas

Day 2 of the count down til Christmas day! My fave piece today is the form of ear candy!

I am in love with these festive earrings! The best thing about them is that they're not novelty either, so I will literally wear them all year long. How beaut are these???

The red jewels at the bottom remind me of bows and the crystals in a circular pattern at the top remind me of reefs! festive fashion! I think I am going to be wearing these a lot over 2014 as well, not just over Christmas.
