London Diaries Day 3

Our Last day in London and I planned to make the most of it. The weather had improved tremendously, cold but sunny and blue skies. The plan... Camden.... Abbey Road and finish off in Chelsea.

#CAMDEN

I had never been to Camden, but I was excited to see what all fuss was about. It did not disappoint. I was excited when I left the underground to see shop after shop, each with its own unique and crazy vibe.

#TheMarkets

My fave part of Camden was the Camden Lock Village aka a huge market full of vintage collectables, faux designer pieces and amazing cultural food huts.

12 Days of Christmas Day 5

On the fifth day of Christmas my true love gave to me ..... 5 golden rings!

Ok, so I don't have a "true love" per say, but I did get myself these 5 midi rings, which Never have off my fingers. There won't be a day over Christmas that these beauties won't be decorating my fingers.

Rings: Miss Selfridge £10 for 5
They're only very simple and plain, but worn layered and all together, they look amazing!

A Christmas Weekend in the Country

It's that time of year, when the city gets busy, full of people Christmas shopping, pushing and shoving. As I live pretty much next to the Trafford Centre, It is literally a nightmare. It takes about an hour to get out of the road, especially at weekends. It's wayyyyy too much to handle. So I decided to get away for the weekend to The lake District.... my parents fave get away.

It was bloody freezing, but by god it was beautiful. It always takes my breath away in Winter, as all the mountains are coated in pure white icy snow and it just looks beautiful. I used to dread going up to the country when I was younger, as it usually meant hard, intense, tiring hikes up all the peaks, but now I love going to getaway.

Sooooo, we headed for our usual little town of Keswick and it was literally freeeeeezing cold, but bright sunshine... crisp and lovely. I spent the day pretty much looking around all the old charity shops, the Christmas markets and the sweetie shops, as well as scoffing my face with chips, chocolate, mulled wine and cookies. PERFECT DAY!!!

Christmas outing in the Lakes

I also bought an absolute gem from the Oxfam charity shop. The owner gave me a discounted further price (she obviously thought it was a piece of rubbish) but I LOVE it! I cannot wait to wear it over the Christmas period.

Time for Tea............

A little trip to Manchester and I found myself in a kooky vintage tea room. Quaint and quirky with a lovely rustic feel.

At the front of the cafe is a dresser full of beautiful individual arts and crafts, which are locally sourced.

The staff were friendly and the whole vibe was cool and relaxed! This is definitely my new favourite hang out! Check it out!!!
